Once a decade, in the valley of mists,
for a weekend and a day,
from dimensions all and worlds afar,
the dragons come to play.
So begins Secret Weapon by Allen Kitchen, published in the January 2000 Morphic Tales by
Cornwuff Press. This is the illustration that accompanied it.
Yep, there's the artsy dragon stealing a cameo on the right. But my favourite detail of this picture is
the pair on the left; a familiar sort of scene to those who know.
